What it is

Learner Find is Pearl's learner recruitment service for FE colleges and independent training providers. It operates on a pay-per-enrolment model: providers are charged only when a referred learner completes enrolment onto one of their programmes. There are no upfront fees, no retainer costs, and no charges for referrals that do not convert.

Pearl manages the recruitment activity, including learner sourcing, pre-qualification against your eligibility criteria, and handover to your admissions team at the point of interest. Providers set the programme types, eligibility criteria, and volume they want. Pearl handles finding and engaging the right learners.

Learner Find is used to fill places on ASF-funded programmes, A2HE courses, commercial short courses, and skills bootcamps where providers need a reliable referral pipeline without the overhead of running their own marketing campaigns.

Who it is for

Learner Find is used by FE colleges with unfilled places on AEB-funded programmes, by ITPs launching new programmes who need to build a learner pipeline quickly, and by providers whose internal marketing resource is stretched across too many priorities to run effective learner-facing campaigns.

It is particularly relevant for providers with ASF underspend at risk of clawback, where filling places quickly has a direct financial impact. It is also used by providers entering new geographic markets or programme areas where they do not yet have established learner demand.

Because the model is pay-on-enrolment, there is no financial risk in trying Learner Find alongside your existing recruitment activity.

Proof points

How it works

Onboarding starts with a brief from your admissions or marketing team covering the programmes you want to fill, eligibility requirements, geography, and your target enrolment numbers. Pearl configures the recruitment activity against those parameters.

Referrals are passed to your admissions team with pre-qualification data attached, so your team knows which eligibility criteria have already been confirmed. You process the enrolment through your normal admissions workflow. Pearl invoices per confirmed enrolment at the agreed rate.

You can pause, adjust, or stop referral volumes at any point. There is no minimum contract term for volume commitments.
