Atom is Pearl's Learning Management System, built from the ground up for UK Further Education, ITPs and awarding bodies delivering Ofqual-regulated qualifications.
Most LMS platforms were built for HE seminars or corporate training, then bent to fit FE delivery. Atom isn't. It's shaped around ASF, AEB and RQF delivery, with ePortfolio, IQA sign-off, EQA workflow and ESFA-ready evidence built in, not bolted on.
Atom runs natively with SAM, AI and Plagiarism Checking, Learner Find Portal and the Pearl Content Library. It also handles SCORM and xAPI, so the content you've already built or licensed comes with you.

Pearl Access to HE is the only Learning Management System built specifically for Access to Higher Education, designed in partnership with QAA-recognised Access Validating Agencies.
Access courses don't behave like other qualifications. Unit credits, EQA panels, transcript outputs and university-facing reporting all sit outside what a generic LMS can do. Pearl A2HE handles them natively.
It runs alongside Atom for providers with mixed delivery, and pairs with SAM for AI-assisted marking on diploma assessments.

SAM is Pearl's AI assessment and marking platform, designed for educators delivering Ofqual-regulated qualifications.
Assessors are buried. Evening marking is normal, weekend marking is common, burnout is real. SAM reads each submission against your rubric and proposes a grade plus assessor-ready feedback. The assessor reviews, adjusts, and signs off. The IQA workflow you already run does not change.
The retail sector in the United Kingdom has undergone significant transformation in the post-pandemic era, with online channels capturing a structural share of consumer spend.
Stakeholder analysis reveals that the strategic interplay between operational efficiency and customer-centricity remains the principal lever for sustainable competitive advantage in this segment. The case business has responded with a phased restructuring of its store estate.
Examining the financial statements for FY24, gross margin compressed by 180 basis points year on year. According to Porter (1985), competitive advantage grows fundamentally out of the value a firm is able to create for its buyers that exceeds the cost of creating it.
Pearl's AI and Plagiarism Checker flags AI-generated and plagiarised submissions at the point a learner uploads them, with passage-level evidence the assessor can review and act on.
Assessors are spotting AI-written work by feel, then trying to prove it. That doesn't scale and it isn't defensible at IQA or EQA. The checker runs every submission against an AI-generation model and a plagiarism index, returns a confidence score, and highlights the passages that triggered it.
Pearl's Content Library is a catalogue of off-the-shelf qualification content covering FE, ITP and HE delivery, mapped to UK awarding body standards, ready to teach from day one.
Building course content from scratch costs you delivery time you don't have. Licensing piecemeal from multiple publishers means a different look, feel and structure for every qualification. Pearl's library covers AEB, ASF, apprenticeship, Access to HE and short-course delivery in one consistent format, all built by curriculum specialists.
Drop it into Atom, Pearl A2HE, or the LMS you already run. SCORM and xAPI compatible, so it works wherever your learners are.

Learner Find is Pearl's learner recruitment engine for UK colleges and ITPs running AEB, ASF, apprenticeship and HE delivery.
Cost per learner is now the biggest variable in your delivery budget. Generic lead-gen agencies sell you volume, then leave you to filter, chase and convert. Most of it never enrols. Learner Find vets every applicant against your eligibility, programme and intake criteria before they reach your team, and only invoices when an enrolment sticks.
No retainer, no spend on no-shows, no contracts that lock you into a forecast you can't hit.
Marking eats your assessors' evenings, and IQA bottlenecks delay learner feedback.
SAM proposes grades and feedback against your rubric. Assessors review, adjust, and sign off. Your IQA workflow stays intact.
AI-written and plagiarised submissions are slipping through, and your assessors are spotting them by gut feel.
Pearl's AI and Plagiarism Checker flags AI-written and plagiarised work at the point of submission, with passage-level evidence assessors can act on. Available standalone or alongside SAM.
Procurement keeps asking about Cyber Essentials, accessibility and data residency. You're guessing the answers.
Pearl is Cyber Essentials certified, WCAG 2.2 AA, UK hosted, with a procurement pack ready to send.
Learner recruitment costs are climbing. Cost per learner is now your biggest variable.
Learner Find brings vetted, intent-matched learners into your funnel. You only pay for enrolments that stick.
Ofsted readiness lives in a shared drive. Evidence is scattered across tutors and systems.
Atom centralises observation notes, learner work and tutor sign-offs against the inspection framework, ready for an inspector's first call.
Tighten retention, achievement and inspection readiness without adding to your assessors' workload.
Cut sampling time, surface variance early, and keep an audit-ready record across every cohort.
Lower cost per learner, tighten ILR returns, and keep delivery aligned with your funding rules.
Three inputs. Live results. Based on a 67% marking time saving across SAM deployments.
Estimate only. Based on average SAM customer experience. Your savings depend on your assessment mix and current workflow.
